One patient who experienced around ten seizures per day due to Lyme’s disease began to use marijuana to combat her symptoms. Once she started vaping marijuana, she found that the seizures became under control, then they stopped entirely. After this, she then started to use cannabis oil. After around 4 weeks of using cannabis oil, she was able to get back to normal day to day life, and that the symptoms of Lyme’s disease were a thing of the past.

While this story is exciting, cannabis oil needs to be backed up with firm scientific evidence. Knowledge is poor regarding the long-term impacts that cannabis and cannabis oil has on Lyme’s disease, which worries many researchers, so there is still a lot of work to be done before we can finally offer a potential cure for this debilitating condition.
