Cancer is one of the deadliest disease that humanity is going through. Since a long time a lot of research, money and energy has gone into finding the treatment and solution but nothing substantial has yet come out of it. As a human being, there are a number of things which keep happening in the body and no one gets to know of it until there is some kind of discomfort. So there are a few things which you can possibly do to prevent the risk of cancer. Below mentioned are some of the tips which can reduce the cancer risk and can help you lead a healthy life.

Eat a plenty of green veggies and fruits and have lot of whole grains and other foods from organic sources such as beans and legumes etc. Obesity also should be avoided so include only meals which have fewer calories and doesn’t include refined sugar and any kind of fat. Besides, if you like to take a drink or two, you can always have it in moderation as even frequent drinking also is associated with liver, kidney, breast and colon cancer. Also avoid processed foods and meats. Include extra-virgin olive oil, mixed nuts and fish in your diet.
  3. Always be physically active – Though a little difficult that may sound as everyone these days has a sedentary lifestyle – all thanks to the technology – but it is good to be active and maintain a sound weight as it can help in decreasing the risk of cancer. Have moderate exercises at least 5 times in a week. Try and do more if you can – the more the better.

So try and avoid going out during the midday as the rays are strongest between 11 am and 4 pm. Even if you have to go out, try and stay in shade as much as you can and use sunglasses and caps and cover all the exposed areas. Use sunscreen generously and reapply whenever you are stepping out.
  5. Get regular medical checkups – Every once in a while, you can have a full body checkup and you can also do self-examination of different kinds of cancer such as breast, colon or cervix. You can always have the cancer prevention in your hands and it will surely reward your life.
